Sponsor a dog today and make a real difference

Hector’s Greyhound Rescue take in well over a hundred dogs in need every year and do our best to never turn away a dog that needs us. We rely heavily on public donations and appreciate people’s generosity as we receive no government funding. Unfortunately, there are some dogs who can never be rehomed due to injury, ill health or social/behavioural problems, which can be linked to a traumatic past experience. These dogs will stay with Hector’s forever and become our ‘Forever Fosters’.

These beautiful hounds are fostered for the rest of their life, often by volunteer carers who will devote their time and care to them, giving them all of the love and attention, they deserve. Hector’s ‘Forever Fosters’ require extra financial support due to them often needing additional and ongoing veterinary care, specialist food and behavioural therapy, which your sponsorship will help fund.

Would you like to sponsor one of our ‘Forever Fosters’? For a monthly donation, we will email you a sponsorship certificate for your chosen dog along with an update of how they’re getting on. You can also sponsor a dog as a gift for somebody else – just supply us with the email address of the person you’d like to gift the sponsorship to and we’ll do the rest.
