Who is Toast
Toast is a beautiful black greyhound girl who has found her safe haven here at Hectors Greyhound Rescue. She has suffered a lot of trauma in her short life.
Toast is a deeply traumatized greyhound girl who finds the world is a frightening place. After four years in our care, there are still only a few trusted people she feels truly comfortable with. They understand her fear and treat her with kindness and patience.
Toast lives her life in our kennels with her loyal companion Jett, another sponsor dog. Together, they’ve found comfort in each other and have built their own little world filled with understanding, companionship, and love.
They may never be ready for life beyond the kennels, but are safe, loved, and cared for every single day.
Not every rescue ends with adoption but your support will give dogs like Toast – and Jett – the care, safety, and love they need.
